5 Day Cruise Break - Itinerary |
DAY 1 Local departure then onwards to Germany to join our cruise ship, the ‘Rhine Princess’ at Remagen, for a four night cruise. LS DAY 2 Koblenz (included)Moselle Valley (optional) We cruise to Koblenz. Why not join the optional coach excursion along the the Moselle Valley, visiting the riverside village of Alken, where you'll enjoy winetasting at the popular House of Anton Hammes. Then return to Koblenz for some free time, before rejoining the ship B,L,D DAY 3 Rudesheim (included) We cruise to Rudesheim, home of the Drosselgasse, lined with traditional bars and shops. Explore the Christmas market, or join the optional visit to Siegfried's Mechanical Music Museum. This evening is Captain's dinner and party night B,L,D DAY 4 Cologne (included). We cruise to charming Cologne, where you can browse the city's markets. B,L,D DAY 5 We journey by coach from Cologne to Calais, then return home. B Included Meals: Breakfast L=Lunch, D=Dinner, LS=Light Supper Please Note: a packed lunch will be provided during land excursions. At some ports of call, a degree of walking is involved to join your coach. Also, due to limited docking facilities, it may be necessary to dock alongside another ship, to gain shore access. |

| You’ll stay for three or four
nights aboard the ‘M.S. Rhine Princess’. A firm favourite with Leger
customers, the ship’s onboard facilities are located over four decks
and include a large lounge bar with a small dance floor around which
the daily entertainment takes place. There is also an outside sun
deck, ideal for viewing the passing scenery, and a small quiet lounge
with a library. The ship also has a restaurant and shop with small gifts, souvenirs, postcards and Rhine river maps for sale. Cabins are located on three decks and all have twin beds, T.V., telephone and air-conditioning. |
