The floating market, aboard one of the cruise ships moored along the Rhine promenade, is one of the city's six, making them some of the largest in Germany. Along with the largest Christmas tree in the Rhineland, decorated with twinkling lights, each of the markets has its own particular character, offering different seasonal gifts and decorations. |
ITINERARY |
| DAY 1 Travel by Eurostar from London to Brussels, then by connecting service to Cologne, where we will stay for three nights. DAYS 2 & 3 Cologne (included) Two full days in Cologne to relax and explore. The Christmas market around the cathedral next to the sumptuous Dom Hotel has approx. 170 stalls. Walk down to the Old Market, explore the aptly named Rudolfplatz and see the stalls at the Neumarkt. 2xB DAY 4 Return to London by connecting service to Brussels and Eurostar.
